Is your community site a good fit?
Could your community site recruit at least 10 volunteers to participate for one hour weekly from mid-October to late May?
Can your site’s volunteers obtain and submit all required clearances (PA state criminal and child abuse; FBI fingerprinting; mandated reporter training). Will your firm cover the costs of obtaining clearances?
Can your community site’s volunteers attend a 90-minute training session prior to the first coaching session?
Does your community site already have affiliated first and second grade students that need literacy coaching and support?
Does your community site have a dedicated space where coaches and students can meet each week?
OR
Do your community site’s volunteers have access to computers (laptop or desktop) equipped with Internet access, a camera and microphone, and updated versions of Zoom and PowerPoint?
