“The capacity to read widely and well…has been one of the most sustaining gifts of my life. I want others to have the benefit of this gift.”
Alice Dailey
Associate Professor of English
Villanova University
Alice Dailey is an Associate Professor in the English Department at Villanova University, where she teaches and writes about early British literature, especially Shakespeare. At Villanova, she served in Faculty Governance, particularly as chair of the university's Faculty Rights and Responsibilities Committee, an experience that prepared her for the cooperative work of board service.
As a highly trained reader working with college students who are themselves already highly trained readers, Alice joined Achieve Now’s board in 2018 to help support readers who are beginning their literacy education.
